COSMO COOPER.jpg

MY SECOND BOOK, PUBLISHED BY SCHOLASTIC IN 2002, AND ILLUSTRATED BY JANINE DAWSON

Curious Cosmo Cooper is standing in the Borrow Brothers' basement in the middle of the night staring at a strange contraption. It looks like a washing machine on wheels with a tuba poking out the top. What is it?

He left his village, the village of Lockbarrel, to carry out a vital mission. The villagers will starve if he doesn't succeed. For disaster has struck Lockbarrel - the lemon crop has failed.

One curious event after another has led him to this contraption. It definitely looks suspicious. He has to know more. After all, you can never be too curious.
